JVC Videosphere Television 1970s

Vintage television collectors are going to gaga over this one. A fully functional Red/orange colored JVC Videosphere from the 1970’s (I’m told 1972, but not positive) is on the market here. It is designed to look like a space helmet. Does not come with the stand that you see some of them sitting on. This one just wants to hang out in your home and bring you the best that the airwaves have to offer. It can be hooked up to whatever kind of cable stuff you have with the right cords, but I would point out that this would have to be well-thought out because you don’t just want a cord going from your entertainment stand to the back of this beautiful set. You’d definitely want to discreetly run a cord from above the television and incorporate it into whatever you use to hang it.

Take a good look at the pictures, this is an amazing find! You don’t see very many functional Videospheres around these days.

What we have here is a rare pair of table lamps from the highly sought-after Holland design group RAAK. The year of manufacture is 1970. Beautiful futuristic retro polished aluminum styling. Compliments any chrome/silver accents you may have in the same room. Very sexy and great for setting the mood at “wild” parties. Seems to say, “Loving me is like enjoying a night of passion with the Silver Surfer.” There are 9 lights in each fixture, which stand 30 in (76.2 cm) tall and are each 17 in (43.2 cm) wide.
